Snowbird's hard working money men have been busy throwing all sorts of cash to the peruvian side of the mountain. Over the past two years they have completed replacing the old 2 person peruvian lift with a fancy new high speed quad that travels considerably higher and faster than the old one. The new drop off point is so close to where the tram lets off that only the top of the chutes on high baldy traverse are inaccessible from chairs now. And to top it all off, the tunnel connecting the front and back side of the mountain is now open and ready for magic carpet riders! Dubbed by locals the Basshole, in 2 minutes you'll be whisked from the top of the peruvian lift to 50' below the mineral basin lift. All these improvements are great, but would be even better if we actually had SNOW here to enjoy these new additions.

All that cash has to come from somewhere and it appears to be out of Iron Blosam's renovations. We have some *ahem* beautiful new additions to our 324 room this year. All of which elevate the room's decor to a look bordering between the 1970's 16mm film they show on the snowbird channel and the Tuscaloosa, Alabama Motel 6 located just off of I-36 ( to the left of Shantiqua's Pancake Palace).

From the beautiful new floral arrangements which we have re-located from the tables to the space above the jackets, to the wonderful new K-Mart style coffee table and surprising lack of side table. This place is looking FAN-TAAASTIC!
And of course, 1011 doesn't get quite as much attention to detail and our beautiful 324 and instead is looking like a boring old clean, maintained, and well furnished apartment.
